TOMPKINSVILLE — Anna Joyce Vinson Birge, 71, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. She was born in Macon County, Tenn. on Feb. 3, 1938, to the late Chan Vinson and Clovis Etheridge Vinson. She was a member of the Phillippi Church of Christ, a retired factory worker with the former Key Work Clothes. She is survived by her husband, Paul D. Birge, of Tompkinsville; a daughter, Connie Birge, of Tompkinsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and JoAnn Birge, of Tompkinsville; two sisters, Peggy Dugard, of Tompkinsville, and Sue Roarke, of Lafayette, Tenn.; two brothers, Danny Vinson, of Tompkinsville, and Wayne Vinson, of Summer Shade; a half-brother, Junior Vinson, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a grandson, Matthew Birge. She was preceded in death by five sisters: Nell, Elaine, Minnie and Lois Vinson and Bobbie Jean Clarkson, and a brother, Timmy Vinson, and three half-brothers: Golman, Tom and Eugene Vinson. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Friends may call at the Strode Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the White Cemetery. Kenneth Wayne Boss BOWLING GREEN — Kenneth Wayne Boss, 35, of Bowling Green, died Friday, May 22, 2009 in auto accident at Bristow and Goshen Church roads. He is the son of the late Edward Allen Boss and Rose Bernice Terrell Boss. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Mary Chadwell GLASGOW — Mary Chadwell, 69, of Cave City, KY died Thursday May 21, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mrs. Chadwell was born in West Virginia the daughter of the late Harold and Irma Turner Jones.
