Lawrence Buckley
GLASGOW — Lawrence Buckley, 79, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his home.
He was born in Barren County, the son of the late Brent and Lockie Katherine Carder Buckley. Lawrence was a lifelong farmer and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Britt Buckley; one son: Steve Buckley and wife, Melissa, of Glasgow; one daughter: Carol Kaye Bragg and husband, Wayne, of Glasgow; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Rutha Buckley Tenry of Glasgow and Mildred Buckley Hamilton of Crawfordsville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Addie Lois Whitlow Buckley; two sisters: Lida Mae McGuire and Lucille Adwell; and three brothers, Kenneth, James and Alva Buckley.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.

Mary F. Chadwell
CAVE CITY — Mary F. Chadwell, 69, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
Arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

James Donald ‘Don’ Pedigo
CAVE CITY — James Donald “Don” Pedigo, 73, died Friday, May 22, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
A son of the late Hughie Rollin Pedigo and Mary Lillie Riley Pedigo, he was a farmer and a retired salesperson. He had been co-owner of Pedigo Brothers Implement Co. and a former employee of Hiseville Feed and Seed and Kentuckiana Vet Supply. He was a member and deacon of Hiseville Baptist Church, a member of the Hiseville Masonic Lodge, Hiseville Eastern Star and Kosair Shrine. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; two sons: James Donald “Don” Pedigo II and his wife, Cathy, of Glasgow, and Clifton Wayne Pedigo and his wife, Julie, of Cave City; five grandchildren: Chris Powell and wife, Jennifer, Jeremy Wayne Pedigo and wife, Christina, James Donald “Jamie” Pedigo III, Brandi Birge and Briana Birge; two great-grandchildren: Caitlyn and Alexis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Casey Pedigo; and one brother, Col. Hughie Richard Pedigo.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Saturday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hiseville Masonic Lodge or to Kosair Charities.

GLASGOW — Mary Frances Campbell 75, has died. Funeral services will be today (Friday) at 1 p.m. at Loving Springs Baptist Church with burial in the Barber Family Cemetery.

EDMONTON — Terry William Klinkers, 54, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Missionary Mound Cemetery at Edmonton. There will be no visitation.

LaVERGNE, Tenn. — Larry Franklin Thompson, 60, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Friday) at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Society Hill Cemetery.
