Friday, May 8, 2009, Obituaries Special to the Daily TimesGLASGOW — Charles Allen “Chuck” Ezell, 64, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Hubert Ezell and Mae Martin Parker. He was a Vietnam veteran. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; 10 children: Allen Ezell of Detroit, Mich., Connie Deforest of Memphis, Tenn., Jeffrey Ezell of Flint, Mich., John Ezell and his wife Barbara of Flint, Mich., Daniel Ezell of Dickson, Tenn., “serving in Iraq,” Samantha Ezell of Dickson, Tenn., Stephanie Barnes and her husband Jason of Michigan, Charlie Ezell of Glasgow, Rachel Cross and her husband David of Glasgow and Taylor Ezell; three brothers: Wayne Ezell and his wife Joann of Bon Aqua, Tenn., Don Ezell and his wife Bonnie of Bon Aqua, Tenn., and Jack Ezell and his wife Rheda of Tennessee; three sisters: Shirley Roden of Dickson, Tenn., Reva Robertson of Louisville, and Nancy McLane of Detroit Mich.; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Faith United Baptist Church in Oakland with Brother Lenny Hogan officiating. Visitation will be at the church after 3 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Hays Cemetery. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hatchersaddler.com Louise Ray Garmon GLASGOW — Louise Ray Garmon, 68, of Glasgow, died May 6, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Metcalfe County, the daughter of the late Chester Edward Garrett and Leether Edith Parrigin Garrett. Louise was retired from Dana Corporation in Glasgow. Surviving are son, Tony (Sara) Garmon of Edmonton; brother, Wilbert Garrett of Center; sister, Geneva (Charles) Bennett of Glasgow; sisters: Hazel Garrett of Edmonton, and Shirley Dowell of Sulphur Well; two grandsons: Jason Garmon of Edmonton and Brian Garmon of Elizabethtown; granddaughter: Brandy Garmon of Summer Shade; great- granddaughters: Lana and Lilyanna Garmon of Elizabethtown; great grandson: Jordon Garmon of Summer Shade; step great-grandchildren, Logan and Lydia Skaggs of Elizabethtown. One niece and several nephews also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Lee Garmon; and one sister, Jeanette Compton. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Moore Springs Cemetery.
