SMITHS GROVE — Letha Mae Board, 80, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was the daughter of the late Romie Board and Gabrella Cooke. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Stoney Point Baptist Church with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel. Kimberly Aleasha Brown GLASGOW — Kimberly Aleasha Brown, 44, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County, attended Old Zion Methodist Church and was a graduate of Barren County Schools. Survivors include her father, Bobby B. Brown (Linda) of Glasgow; mother Judy Jackson (James Coates) of Glasgow; two brothers: Mark Brown (Beverly) and Allen Thomas (Jenny), both of Glasgow; three sisters: Karen Johnson (Mark); Kim Proffitt-Burks (Scott) and Gaye Botts, all of Glasgow; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends and neighbors also survive. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at the funeral home. www.crowfuineralhome.com Rev. Timothy S. Chamberlain NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Rev. Timothy S. Chamberlain, 87, formerly of Munfordville, died Friday, May 1, 2009, at his residence in Nashville. The Barren County native was born on Aug. 11, 1921. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a farmer and in his early 30s he began a new chapter in his life as a faithful clergyman for 34 years. The Rev. Chamberlain was a member of the Kentucky United Methodist Conference. He received his associates degree from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia; bachelor’s degree in English at Austin Peay State University; and Masters of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University.
