LOUISVILLE — Nancy Ann Bishop, 69, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. The former Cave City resident was born in Edmonson County to the late Frank and Nannie Mae Shaw Ritter. She was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Louisville and a member of the Servant Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Virgil Bishop, Louisville; two sons: Gregory Bishop, New York, Michael Bishop, California; two daughters: Judy Jaggers and Tina Bowling, both of Louisville; five brothers: Ronald Ritter and Kenneth Ritter, both of Indiana, Corey Eugene Ritter, Louisville, Leon Ritter, Texas, and Tom “TJ” Ritter, Virginia; a sister, Rose Lee Skaggs, Shepherdsville; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elzie Ritter. Funeral services with the Rev. Merrold Hatcher officiating will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in Servant Valley Church Cemetery. Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Pedigo EDMONTON — Roberta “Bobbie” Pedigo, 83, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late William Raymond Melloy and Hertelle Reynolds Melloy. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Pedigo; one son, Michael O. Pedigo of Florida; one daughter, Robbie Friedman of Florida; one brother and one sister, Larry Melloy of Indiana and Jean Davidson of California; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
