BOWLING GREEN — Pauline Studle Elrod, 94, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Magnolia Village. She was the daughter of the late Blane Studle and Maple Hendrick Studle and wife of 71 years of the late William Elrod. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation is from 1 until 8 p.m. today (Friday) and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Juanita Kay Thomas EDMONTON — Juanita Kay Thomas, 59, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at her home. She was the daughter of the late George Tyrie and Joan Pickering Hartman, of Edmonton, who survives. She was a housekeeper at Glenview Health Care. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Straders Ranch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today (Friday) at the funeral home. Besides her mother, she is survived by one son: Robert Troy Thomas of Edmonton; one grandson: Zackary Tyler Thomas also of Edmonton; her companion of 28 years, Eddie Steven Neal of Edmonton; one sister: Peggy Sellers of Edmonton; two brothers: James Edward Hartman of Battle Ground, Ind., and Michael Lee Hartman of Williamsburg, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family also survive. www.butler-funeralhome.com Paul Houston Waddle LOUISVILLE — Paul Houston Waddle, 69, who fought a long and courageous battle with colon cancer, passed away as the result of a car crash on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in Bullitt County. He was a long time member of Falling Springs Baptist Church and a graduate of Western Kentucky University. Paul retired from Toyota Mfg. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, his dog, woodworking and fishing when he was able.
