J.B. Cloyd
GLASGOW — J.B. Cloyd, 78, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow.
He was born in Monroe County, the son of the late Marlow Franklin Cloyd and Gertrude Geralds Cloyd. Mr. Cloyd was a member of South Green Street Church of Christ. He was retired after having served 25 years with the Glasgow Police Department and seven years with the Glasgow Fire Department. More recently he worked at the Barren County courthouse as a deputy with the Barren County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Cloyd was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by two sons: Michael Cloyd and wife Roxanne of Glasgow and Ronnie Cloyd of Glasgow; one granddaughter: Erin Keller and husband Adam of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a great-grandchild: Seth Keller; one brother: Joe Cloyd and wife Penny of Bowling Green; three sisters: Hallie Cloyd Simmons and husband Bill of Glasgow, Helen Cloyd Pruitt of Glasgow and Arlene Cloyd Vaughn and husband Boyce of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Katherine Clark Cloyd; and a brother, Mervin Cloyd.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow, will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Stanley Howe Kingrey
GLASGOW — Stanley Howe Kingrey, 78, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at NHC Health Care Center.
A son of the late Cilvenas and Rosettie Britt Kingrey, he was a retired cabinet maker and a member of the Brotherhood Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven sons: Arnold Kingrey, Wilbur Kingrey and his wife, Kathie, Glenn Kingrey, Darrell Kingrey, Jerry Kingrey and his wife, Michelle, and Gary Kingrey all of Glasgow, Rex Kingrey of Tennessee; three daughters: Joan Bennett and husband, Carlos, and Bonnie Lyon of Glasgow, Jennifer Taylor and husband, Mark, of Greensburg; one brother: George Kingrey and wife, Gelee, of Indiana; one sister: Dorene Powell of Glasgow; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Brady Kingrey on Jan. 9, 2009; two brothers, Fred Kingrey and Rondel Kingrey; and one sister, Pauline Jackson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, Glasgow, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Monday at the funeral home.

William Richard Eddings
GLASGOW — William Richard Eddings, 80, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow.
He was born in Barren County, the son of the late Henry M. and Melissa Pernie Houchens Eddings. He was an active member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church for 65 years and was a retired truck driver for Suburban Propane.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret; one son: Charles Eddings (Brenda) of Edmonton; four grandchildren: Misty Garmon (Ricky) of Bowling Green, Mandy Vibbert (Jimmy), Dustin Eddings and Curtis Eddings (April); three great-grandchildren: Mary Kate Garmon, Logan Eddings and Shelby Vibbert, all of Glasgow; one sister: Grace Lyons (Lanford) of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Joyce Wayne Robinson
CAVE CITY — Joyce Wayne Robinson, 74, passed away Friday evening, April 3, 2009, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.
She was born April 24, 1934, in Scottsville. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 32 years, 28 of which were at Caverna High School. She also was a member of the Cave City Baptist Church, the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, the Cave City Chamber of Commerce, Cave City Firefighters Auxillary, a charter member of the Cave City Lions Club, and an Honorary Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murl and Viola Pearson Patterson; and her husband of 41 years, James (Cotton) Robinson.
Survivors include a sister: Jean McCall and husband Cecil of Georgia; a niece: Jada O'Neill and husband John of Georgia; one nephew: Jason McCall and wife Kristi of Georgia; great-nieces and nephews: Reilly, Owen and Lachlan O'Neill, Dylan and Delia McCall.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Joyce and Cotton Robinson Scholarship fund, c/o Caverna High School or to the American Cancer Society.

CAVE CITY — Barry Michael Ford, 51, of Cave City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 3, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

HORSE CAVE — Georgia Ann Cahoe, 66, of Horse Cave, died Friday, April 3, 2009 at her residence in Horse Cave. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in Wilkerson Temple Cemetery in Munfordville. Visitation continues until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
