FLORIDA – Anna Pedigo Barrnett, 86, formerly of Glasgow, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at her daughter’s home in Ocala, Fla. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Mansfield Pedigo. Mrs. Barrnett was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Rowe (Bobby), two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of Florida. Locally she is survived by a sister, Thelma Sartin, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Earl “Doc” Pedigo, three sisters, Nell Oaks, Wilma Thompson and Irene Staples. Interment will be in Florida. www.crowfuneralhome.com Mr. Fred Thompson Jr. TOMPKINSVILLE – Mr. Fred Thompson Jr., 66, of 3334 Big Sulphur Creek Rd., Tompkinsville, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born March 12, 1942, in Monroe County, he was the son of the late Fred Thompson Sr. and Agnes Moore Thompson, who survives. He was a farmer and retired pallet mill foreman. He was married by Brother Ross O. Spears on Dec. 7, 1963, to Margie Strode Thompson. In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by a son-in-law, Kelvin Cross of Tompkinsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Lane Emberton of Tompkinsville; and five grandchildren, Kala, Cory and Cody Cross, Ariel and Ellie Emberton. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Cross. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home with Brother Randall McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be after 6:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
