HISEVILLE — James P. Walton, 84, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at the Glenview Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Gideon Earl Walton and Frances Mitchell Saunders Walton. He was a painter, artist and a member of the Hiseville Methodist Church. He is survived by two sisters: Elna Locke of Hiseville and Emma Stacy of Tucson, Ariz.; nieces and nephews: Donna Seymour, Todd Allen, Ed Allen, Shelley Gillespie and John Stacy, and their families. Also several cousins survive. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, Glasgow, with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take of the form of donations to the Hiseville Methodist Church. www.hatchersaddler.com Ora Laverne Pennington EDMONTON — Ora Laverne Pennington, 85, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Hattie Firkins Dulin. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Noble Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by three sons: Coy Pennington of Summer Shade, Neal Pennington of Scottsville and Billy Pennington of Edmonton; one daughter: Susie Bryant of Edmonton; a half sister, Jean Vance of Adair County. Thirteen grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Radford Pennington, and one son, Clyde Elbert Pennington. Wilma N. Trowbridge HORSE CAVE — Wilma N. Trowbridge, 83, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at the Hart County Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nat Webster Nichols and Betty Jane Price Nichols; and her husband, Ernest Trowbridge.
