MUNFORDVILLE — Robert “Bobby” Buckner, 75, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at his home. He was the son of the late Robert L. Buckner and Greathel Johnson Buckner. Bobby was a retired farmer and rural mail carrier, a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church, a member of the Gideons and the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Buckner; one son: Billy Buckner of Munfordville; two daughters: Joe Estes and husband Bobby of Munfordville, and Jennifer Wilson and husband Robert of Munfordville; one brother: Russell Buckner and wife Louise of Munfordville; eight grandchildren: Hollie Sims and husband Jeremy, Kyle Buckner, Doug Estes, Zakary Wilson, Amanda Bratcher and husband Thomas, John Holder, Samantha and Chelsea Wilson; three great-grandchildren: Makayla Edlin, Mason Sims and Max Bratcher. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home, Munfordville, with Brother Curtis Slinker officiating. Burial will be in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation continues until 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until time for services. www.segofuneralhome.com Ronnie H. Cleary TOMPKINSVILLE — Ronnie H. Cleary, 61, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was born Aug. 12, 1946, in Monroe County and was the son of the late Virgil “Wester” Cleary and Cora Mae Thurman Cleary, who survives. He was owner of Cleary Construction and a member of the Rock Valley Church of Christ. Other survivors include his wife, Shirley Spear Cleary, whom he married on Feb. 3, 1966, in Celina, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Dawn Cleary of Tompkinsville; three grandchildren: Wesley Cleary, Joe Harlan Cleary and Mariah Cleary, all of Tompkinsville; two brothers: David Cleary of Florida, and Jack Cleary of Indianapolis, Ind. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Cleary, Jr. Cleary and Tarry Cleary; and two sisters, Patty Jo Cleary and Sallie Page. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with Brother Ronald Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Rock Valley Church of Christ. Audrey Maxine Page Devore
