Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church in Glasgow, Ky.; Holy Apostle Orthodox Mission, 2052 Russellville Road, Bowling Green, Ky.; the Boy Scouts; or a charity of your choice in remembrance of Sam.

GLASGOW — Marvin W. Pedigo, 77, of Glasgow, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

Kate Elizabeth Chaney Ramsey
SOMERSET — Kate Elizabeth Chaney Ramsey, 105, formerly of Glasgow, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Somerset Nursing Home at Somerset.
She was born in Hart County on Feb. 29, 1904, the daughter of the late Walter and Alice Slaughter Chaney. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She and William Leo Ramsey were married on October 21, 1934. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1982.
She is survived by one brother, James Chaney of Arkansas; one sister, Irene Chaney Short, Horse Cave; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one brother, Brent Chaney; six sisters, Ruth Chaney Gross, Mildred Chaney Tarvin, Amy Chaney Ferguson, Floy Chaney Herndon, Pauline Chaney Settle, Edna Chaney Keefe; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens of Glasgow. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
