IN MINUTES: Metcalfe County Fiscal Court, Feb. 11, 2014

EDMONTON — METCALFE FISCAL COURT

DATE: Feb. 11, 2014 ACTIONS: Magistrates took the following actions: Approved minutes of the Jan. 28 regularly scheduled meeting; approved the annual order of affiliation with all three rescue squads; agreed to make a $1,000 donation toward the replacement of a chair used for events at the governor's mansion in Frankfort; approved the monthly financial statement; approved budget transfers and claims; and agreed to allow Judge-Executive Greg Wilson to purchase a forklift for use at the recycling center provided it costs between $5,000 to $6,000 or less and for the transaction to appear in the next fiscal court meeting's claims.

CLOSED SESSION: Magistrates met in closed session to discuss a personnel matter. Upon resuming their open session, an announcement was made that no action had been taken.

PRESENTATIONS: Magistrate Greg White reviewed a map showing the construction of a new bridge on the Kinnard-Brown Road.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: The following announcements were made: The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's scope meeting for improvements along U.S. 68 had a full house Monday night; a budget training will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 19 at the Barren River Area Development District's office in Bowling Green; and spay and neuter funds are still available.
