8:24 MORNING UPDATE: Clinton Co. woman dies in wreck


A Clinton County woman died Tuesday in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred nine miles east of Albany on Ky. 90. 

Lesia G. Brinson, 46, was eastbound on Ky. 90 in a 2000 Mercury Sable when her car entered the westbound lane and struck a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Tara J. Jordan, 20, of Monticello, according to a Kentucky State Police press release. 

Brinson was pronounced dead at the scene. Jordan was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Both were wearing seat belts, the press release stated.

Trooper Dewayne Holder investigated the wreck.
