That's A Wrap!

GLASGOW — Local artisan Sarah Shirley, of Hiseville, taught a workshop Tuesday afternoon at the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library about how to gift wrap presents creatively. Above, she shows how to use pine cones and holly sprigs to spruce up a package wrapped with brown paper and string.

Aiden Leary, 8, of Glasgow, carefully cuts a piece of brown paper large enough to wrap a gift during a workshop on Tuesday about creative gift wrapping taught by Sarah Shirley at the library.

The Glasgow Daily Times will be covering holiday events throughout the Christmas season. To add holiday happenings to the event calendar, call Martha Thomas in the newsroom at 678-5171 or email
