GLASGOW — No injuries were reported in a collision between a passenger car and a Barren County Schools bus at approximately 3:42 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Beaver Valley Road, according to a Barren County Sheriff’s Office statement.
When emergency personnel arrived, the front end of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by Sherri R. Moore of Horse Cave was “completely lodged up to the vehicle’s windshield under the bus,” according to the BCSO statement.
The bus was operated by Michael D. Hanlin of Glasgow. Two children were aboard the bus at the time of the accident, according to the statement. The cause is under investigation.
In addition to two sheriff’s deputies, Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service and South Barren Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
The BCSO had worked at least two injury accidents Friday morning that were due to road conditions related to the weather.
