GLASGOW — On Thursday, Nov. 15, the Kentucky State Police responded to a drug complaint at 320 Campground Road in Bonnieville. An anonymous tip had come in through the KSP crime reporting form alleging meth related activity at that residence.
A search of the residence yielded items of meth and drug paraphernalia. Vanessa West, 32, and Thomas Omar Dixon, 39, were arrested. They were both charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the welfare of a minor for a 2-year-old being present in the home. Complicity was added to all these charges.
In addition, Dixon was charged with giving a police officer a false name and being a persistent felony offender. They were both lodged in the Hart County Jail. Trooper Daniel White is the investigating officer, and he was assisted on the scene by Trooper Joel Huff.
