Family seeks simpler life

GLASGOW — For many modern families, the idea of being completely self-reliant through subsistence farming would be a daunting, even impossible task. For the Gillespie family, it’s a simple matter of hard work.

Each year, Tiffany Gillespie and her husband, Joel “Coyote” Gillespie, get closer to their goal of complete subsistence on their 16-acre farm at the edge of Hart County.
