12:05 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Goodie bags for 623rd deployment need items

GLASGOW — Soldiers from the 1st Battalion 623rd Field Artillery "Morgan's Men" are preparing for an upcoming mobilization to the Middle East. A Mobilization Yellow Ribbon event will take place Saturday, Nov. 3, at the National Guard Armory. The Family Readiness Support Assistant Group is putting together goodies bags for the family members.

If you or your business has anything, any amount at all, from pencils to coupons, to place in the family goodie bags, please bring to the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber Office, located at 118 E.
