Adding to the Glasgow Barren County Veterans’ Wall of Honor

Veterans honored with 22 new tiles

GLASGOW — Leslie Dean knelt in the crisp October air and pressed the tiles bearing his name and his brother’s against the Glasgow Barren County Veterans’ Wall of Honor.

The tiles for Leslie and Claude Dean were two of 22 being added Thursday, with Claude’s being placed just above the one with Leslie’s name on it. A tile for their brother, Hess, was already in another section on the wall at Beula C. Nunn Park. All three men served in World War II.
