Residents of the Glasgow State Nursing Facility have yet to move into their new building.
The reason for the delay — the federal government shutdown.
According to Gwenda Bond, assistant communications director for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Families, the project is awaiting approval of a notice of compliance from the federal Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.
