GLASGOW — On Wednesday around 5:50 p.m., The Barren Edmonson Allen Drug Task Force helped the Scottsville Police Department with a traffic stop in Scottsville. Assistant Chief Darren Tabor stopped a 1994 Ford truck operated by Brad D. Holland. 35, of Scottsville. A meth lab was found in the cab of the truck during the search of the vehicle. Various meth ingredients were found: ice cream salt, coleman fuel, sodium hydroxide and lithium metal. A small amount of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana was also found, as well as drug paraphernalia, according to news release.
Holland was arrested and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, first offense; trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces, first offense; drug paraphernalia buy/possess; manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; and possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), according to news release.
