5:25 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Outer Loop crash kills one, injures one

GLASGOW — 5:25 p.m.: One man was killed and one woman was injured in a crash Monday afternoon involving a motocycle and a sport utility vehicle.

Glenn Alan Kingrey, 50, of Glasgow, was operating a motorcycle that collided with an SUV driven by Cindy Tracy, of Glasgow, at the intersection of Happy Valley Road and Veterans Outer Loop at 10:28 Monday morning, according to a press release from Glasgow Police Department information officer Julie Anne Williams.

Kingrey was killed in the collision and Tracy was flown to University of Louisville Medical Center. The condition of Tracy was not known by GPD at the time of this afternoon's press release.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the GPD and Barren County Sheriff's Office Detective Rusty Anderson.

3:40 p.m.: One person was killed and another was flown from the scene of a crash at Happy Valley Road and Veterans Outer Loop this morning. Glasgow Police Department personnel were dispatched to the scene before 11 a.m., according to Glasgow Police Department information officer Julie Anne Williams.

No other information can be released at this time, Williams stated in a press release issued this afternoon.

11:20 MORNING UPDATE: Fatal crash closes intersection

A fatal crash at the intersection of Happy Valley Road and Veterans Outer Loop has closed the intersection, according to Glasgow Police Department information officer Julie Anne Williams.

It is suggested commuters take a different route to Cave City from Glasgow, or to Glasgow from Cave City.
