9:52 EVENING UPDATE: Three felony arrests in past week

GLASGOW — Glasgow Police Department arrested three individuals in separate incidents in the past week.

Philip D. Lowe, 31, of Glasgow was arrested on Monday by Glasgow Police Department Officer Steven Shields and charged with prescription of controlled substance, first degree (first offense) drug unspecified and two counts of possession of controlled substance first degree (first offense) drug unspecified.

He was released Tuesday from the Barren County Detention Center on a $1,500 unsecured bond, according to the jail website.

Lillie M. Mcclanahan, 19, of Glasgow, was arrested on Tuesday by Glasgow Police Department Officer Nick Houchens and charged with theft by unlawful taking or shoplifting. The total value of the shoplifted items was over $600, according to police citation.

She was released Wednesday from the Barren County Detention Center on a $1,500 unsecured bond, according to the jail website.

Amanda B. Soards, 30, of Glasgow, was arrested on Saturday by Glasgow Police Department Officer Joseph Ford and charged with theft of legend drug first offense or value under $300.
