Ply-Tech Corp. named chamber of commerce 'Industry of the Year'

GLASGOW — Ply-Tech Corporation was selected as this year’s Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce Industry of the Year.

Ply-Tech Corporation, a manufacturer of quality veneered wood products, originated in Temecula, Calif., in 1988. In order to meet their growing product demand and have better access to raw materials, Ply-Tech Corporation moved to their 30-acre facility in Glasgow in 1994, which currently employs 100 individuals. Ernie Myers, executive vice president of the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce, said it’s Ply-Tech’s longevity in the community that really helped earn the company the title of "Industry of the Year."
