Glasgow Fire Department called to fire

GLASGOW — The Glasgow Fire Department was on the scene of a house fire for about four hours Saturday afternoon, according to a GPD press release.

When firefighters arrived to 411 Garmon Ave., they observed smoke coming from the attic vents and eaves, the release said. They kept the blaze contained to the attic and a “small area on the ground floor,” according to the release; however, the structure was damaged in various places. No damage estimates were listed in the release.

No injuries were reported at the scene, according to the press release.
