Glasgow Middle School students had a few extra things to think about as they boarded buses and climbed into their parents’ cars Friday.
At the conclusion of their school day, they had been introduced to Jason Booher, who was one of the 40 survivors of the May 14, 1988, collision between a pickup truck driven by a drunk man and a church bus carrying 63 youths and four chaperones on their way home to Radcliff after a day at an amusement park.
“That is something in my life that defined how I lived the rest of my life,” Booher said told the youths seated in the bleachers.
