None of Glasgow Transit System’s 22 bus stops have any shelter dedicated to them, although some locations are where a person could wait inside or at least under a porch area.
Through a $57,776 Federal Transportation Authority grant the city has received, that will be changing for eight stops where shelter is most needed and most feasible.
Betty Kirk, who said she’s been a regular rider on the transit system since it started at least 20 years ago, likes the idea of having shelters.
