EDMONTON — Marcus Akin

EDMONTON — Marcus J. Akin, 91, of Edmonton, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home.

Born in Jamestown, N.Y., he was the son of the late Guy Akin and Velma Green Akin.

He was a retired postal worker and Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol Raymond, of Edmonton, and Barbara Brown, of Florida; one sister, Martha Brown, of New York; four grandchildren, Carrie Long, Lyla Raymond, Jon Taylor and David Brown.

Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time. Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton is in charge of arrangements.
