New grocery coming to Cave City

GLASGOW — A new business will soon be opening in Cave City.

Crossroads IGA will locate at the corner of Ky. 90 and U.S. 31W.

The store, which will occupy a 11,000 square foot building, will be similar to the one near where Ky. 234 and Lover’s Lane intersect in Bowling Green.

Cave City officials are pleased that a new business is coming to town.

Crossroads IGA is a Houchens Industries company.

“Anytime you can get new business and new folks in town, it’s always a plus,” Mayor Dwayne Hatcher said. “The Houchens Industries is a landmark not only in this immediate area, but in this entire section of the state, so when you get a name like that coming in and bringing new business and an opportunity for employment, as well as service to the folks, it’s just a win-win situation all the way around.”
