New judge assigned to hospital case

GLASGOW — An Elizabethtown judge has been assigned to oversee a suit between T.J. Samson Community Hospital and community members seeking to be named the new board of trustees for the hospital.

Hardin Circuit Judge Ken M. Howard will handle all future motions and pleadings in the lawsuit, according to an order filed July 10 in Barren Circuit Court. All hearings in the case will continue to be heard in Barren County.
