Ride will honor two local veterans

GLASGOW — Local veterans, supporters, family and friends will meet Sunday for a Rolling Thunder memorial ride to honor Justin Wilkerson and Lenny Pitman, two men who died shortly after returning from tours of duty.

The ride is open to anyone, on a motorcycle, in a car or any form of transportation, said Ken Robertson, president of Rolling Thunder Chapter 2. The ride retraces the route of the last ride Pitman participated in before his death, from Glasgow to Dale Hollow Lake to Sgt. Alvin C. York Historic Park in Pall Mall, Tenn.
