Korean War POW Ross is 'always a soldier'

Most Americans spend the years between age 21 and 24 starting a career, attending college, maybe getting married and starting a family. Charles Ross spent that portion of his life as a prisoner of war in North Korea.

Ross was too young to fight in World War II, but as a South Carolina teenager working in Ft. Jackson’s post exchange, he met plenty of World War II soldiers. They were great men and had an incredible camaraderie together, Ross said.
