GLASGOW — William Andrew Terry, Jr., 82, of Glasgow, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in New Albany, Ind., the son of the late William Andrew Terry Sr. and Mary Hammerlein Terry.
Mr. Terry was an employee of S&T Hardware Industries for 42 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Allen Lodge #24 F&AM, Glasgow Lions Club and had been active with the Glasgow Little League and the Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his son, Bill Terry and wife Christine, of Glasgow; three sisters, Mary Louise Anderson, of Benton, Wilma Coleman of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Janet Boardman and husband Charles, of Severna Park, Md. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Self Terry and a sister, Norma Terry.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 until 8 p.m.
