Lucille Harper Page
SUMMER SHADE – Lucille Harper Page, 86, of Summer Shade, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, at the Monroe Health & Rehab in Tompkinsville surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 8, 1927 in Cumberland County, to the late William Ernest Harper and Delphia Spear Harper. She was a homemaker, quilt maker, former owner of Page Brothers Dry Goods, beloved wife, mother and granny. She was a member of Oak Hill Church of Christ for 70 plus years. She was united in marriage on Aug. 30, 1945 in Glasgow to Dentis Page, who preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2002.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Carolyn Page, Donald and Diane Page, Doug and Rayna Page, all of Summer Shade; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Billy Joe Williams and Denise and Jerry Bean, all of Tompkinsville, one brother, Phillip Harper, of Tompkinsville; three sisters, Regina Hurt, of Tompkinsville, Katherine Shaw, of Livingston, Tenn.,
Lynda Hodges, of Tompkinsville, two sisters-in-law, Joyce Ann Harper, of Summer Shade and Joyce Carol Harper, of Tompkinsville, special caregiver, Sabrina Smith; 15 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Otha and Darrell Harper and J.D. Parke and a great-grandson, James Caden Walden.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday and after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
Memorials are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Skaggs Creek Cemetery or Page Cemetery.
