1:59 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Woman injured in single-vehicle wreck

GLASGOW — A Tennessee woman was injured Friday in a wreck on Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway, according to a Kentucky State Police press release.

Karen Copeland of Lobelville, Tenn., had been traveling east at the 6 milepoint at approximately 7:04 p.m. when her vehicle exited the left side of the roadway; she overcorrected and exited the right side, and the vehicle struck a tree before coming to a rest, according to the press release.

She was treated for injuires at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow and released, the KSP statement said.

The investigation was led by Trooper Raymond Chambers. Barren County Sheriff's Office, Park City Volunteer Fire Department and Barren-Metcalfe EMS assisted on scene.
