12:25 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Man accused of stealing more than half a million dollars from employer

GLASGOW —

A Russell Springs man has been arrested related to wire transfers totaling $625,096.41 made from his employer's account to his personal account, according to a Kentucky State Police statement.

Kyle Robertson, 32, of Russell Springs was arrested at 11:24 p.m. CST Thursday and charged with 32 counts of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000; four counts of theft by unlawful taking less than $10,000 but more than $500 and 36 counts of misuse of electronic information.

From April 28, 2008, through Jan. 14, 2013, while employed at Bruss North America, Robertson made 36 electronic wire transfers from Bruss North America accounts at Deutsche Bank in New York to a personal account held by him at Monticello Banking Co. in Russell Springs, according to the statement.
