3:05 p.m. AFTERNOON UPDATE: Glasgow Police investigate death on East Cherry Street


Glasgow Police were called to a residence on East Cherry Street at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday where family members had found the resident deceased inside the home, according to a press release from GPD Public Affairs Officer Julie Anne Williams.

The initial investigation by detectives does not indicate foul play at this time, according to the release. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.

The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time at the request of Coroner Mike Swift pending notification of family, the release said.
