GLASGOW — Area school districts, after getting some relief for missed days this school year, have set their graduation dates.
Barren County Schools announced through social media Wednesday that Barren County High School's graduation date will be May 30. It had been initially set for May 29, which was the same day as at least three other area high school graduation dates.
"Barren County High School is changing the date of graduation to Friday, May 30 due to overlapping dates with other local schools," said the statement that was released on Facebook and Twitter.
Glasgow and Metcalfe County high schools will have graduation at 7 p.m. May 29. Caverna High School, pending approval from the district's board of education Thursday, is expected to also have graduation at 7 p.m. May 29.
Monroe County High School's graduation will be set by the board Thursday.
