Couple arrested on drug, endangering minor charges

GLASGOW — Larry Dewayne Smiley, 62, and Donna J. Landreth-Curry, 58, both of Glasgow, were arrested Sunday by Glasgow Police Department Officers Jacob Elmore and Steven Shields, respectively, and each was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor (three counts); unlawful transaction with a minor, second degree; possession of marijuana; buying or possessing drug paraphernalia; and possession of a controlled substance, third degree; possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazine; and trafficking synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazine, according to GPD citations.

Smiley remained in the Barren County Detention Center on Tuesday in lieu of a $2,500 bail credit with cash bond; Landreth-Curry was released Monday from the jail on the same bond, according to the jail website.

Cave City man cited for DUI

Terry Loyd Shirley, 41, of Cave City was cited Friday by GPD Officer Casey Meek and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, etc., 0.08, first offense, and driving on a DUI-suspended license, first offense, according to a GPD citation.
