Man hurt in crash

GLASGOW — A Glasgow man was injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning about two miles east of Glasgow, according to a Barren County Sheriff’s Office report.

Amy S. Page, 31, of Tompkinsville was traveling west on Burkesville Road (Ky. 90) in a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country when she had to stop abruptly due to traffic in front of her, according to the report. Douglas W. Cline, 41, of Glasgow was traveling behind the minivan on a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and by the time he saw the van was stopping, he couldn’t get his bike stopped and swerved to try to miss a collision but was unsuccessful, according to the report. The front of the motorcycle struck the driver’s side bumper, according to the report.
