Smiths Grove man still missing after 14 years

GLASGOW — It’s been 14 years since Smiths Grove resident Greg Fowler was reported missing. Despite more than a decade passing since he last shared a Coca-Cola with his friend, Scott Thomerson hasn’t given up on the idea of finding Fowler’s body and his killer.

Fowler reportedly went fishing on June 19, 1999, and never returned home. His boat was found in a shallow portion of Barren River, with his van parked upstream. A missing persons case was opened on June 20, 1999, but his body has still not been found.
