It’s BEAR-ly believable

Local sightings reported

GLASGOW — Janice Briggs was looking out her kitchen window Sunday morning when she saw a black bear run between two sets of duplex apartments next door to her house on South Dixie Highway in Cave City.

She couldn’t believe her eyes, at first, and thought maybe it was just a large dog, but then she decided it wasn’t a dog.

“You could tell by the way it was running it wasn’t a dog,” she said.

Janice called 911 to report the sighting.

“When I called 911, the person who answered, she took all of my information, but I knew she did not believe me. Of course, who would?” Janice said.
