Froedge responds to hospital’s lawsuit

GLASGOW —

T.J. Samson Community Hospital is resorting to “scare tactics” by filing a trademark infringement lawsuit against a group that wants to be legally recognized as the hospital’s new board of trustees, according to a statement released this week.

Glasgow resident D.T. Froedge led the push to elect a new board of trustees to challenge the hospital’s current administration, and as one of the newly elected board members, he has become the spokesman for the challenging board. Sunday night, he released a statement in response to the latest developments in an ongoing legal battle between the hospital and the group that seeks to unseat its board.
