12:43 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Man injured in Roseville Road wreck

GLASGOW —

A Glasgow man was taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital on Wednesday morning following an accident on Roseville Road.

Zane R. Wilkins, 24, was traveling south when he lost control of his 1996 Ford Ranger, according to a Barren County Sheriff's Office press release. Wilkins overcorrected the vehicle while trying to regain control, and went off the right side of the roadway, traveling through a fence before coming to a complete stop, according to the BCSO statement. Wilkins was transported by Barren-Metcalfe County EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the statement.

Deputy Mike Houchens investigated the accident and besides EMS was assisted by the Temple Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
