GLASGOW — The Glasgow Board of Adjustment granted a variance to allow construction of a 65-foot radio tower to be constructed at 902 W. Main St., where Forever Communications plans to put a studio.

At its regular meeting Monday evening, the board heard a presentation from Thom Kendall, the city’s planning administrator, detailing the request for the variance and outlining the location of the proposed tower and that it would 25 feet higher than would normally be allowed. With a ground elevation of 800 feet, the total elevation would be 865 feet.
