GLASGOW — Children's Day Celebration is 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Plaza Theatre.

There will be a variety of musical performances presented by students from Barren, Caverna and Glasgow Schools. A very special presentation will also be made to Barren County’s Promise from America’s Promise.

Children’s Day was organized by Dr. Bharat Mody to meet basic needs for local children.

Dr. Mody along with Family Resource and Youth Service Center Coordinators and other community members planned the Celebration as a special event for our community.

Admission is free for all children and a donation of $10 is suggested for adults. Proceeds will benefit area children in need.

We look forward to seeing you on the 20th.
