Down and Out

GLASGOW — A downed tree on U.S. 31W in Horse Cave created a power outage and affected phone service for some residents and businesses Wednesday morning. The lack of power resulted in Caverna schools starting classes two hours late. Personnel with Kentucky Utilities worked to restore power earlier in the day, and above, crews with South Central Rural Telephone Cooperative work to fix phone service.
