3:55 p.m. AFTERNOON UPDATE: Two additional arrests result from the continued meth lab investigation by KSP in Hart County

GLASGOW — On Saturday, June 29, at 3:10 a.m., Kentucky State Police received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Lone Star Road in Hart County. The caller reported that three subjects were inside an abandoned mobile home at 525 Lone Star Road. Trooper Daniel White, responded to the location and found individuals inside the abandoned trailer.

Two individuals fled the scene on foot while Kevin Cox, 45, of Bonnieville, was detained. A one-step methamphetamine lab was located in the residence along with several meth precursors and more than 13 grams of finished product of meth. Wesley Cox, 21, of Bonnieville, was later apprehended as well.

Both were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; complicity to manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; unlawful possession of meth precursors; complicity to unlawful possession of meth precursors; second-degree burglary; second-degree complicity to burglary; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified); and first-degree complicity to possession of a controlled substance, first offense, (drug unspecified).

In addition, Wesley Cox was charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot).

Both were lodged in the Hart County Jail.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Daniel White is the investigating officer on this case, and the investigation continues. He was assisted by Trooper B.J. Eaton.

UPDATE: Two additional arrests have resulted from the continued meth lab investigation by KSP.

Andrew W. Nixon, 19, of Munfordville, and Eric D. Riggs, 25, of Bonnieville, have been arrested in connection to the methamphetamine lab case being investigated by the Kentucky State Police. Both fled the scene of the meth lab at 525 Lone Star Road in Hart County on June 29. Both have been charged with second-degree fleeing/evading police (on foot); manufacturing methamphetamine; complicity to manufacturing methamphetamine; unlawful possession of meth precursors; complicity to unlawful possession of meth precursors; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified); first-degree complicity to possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified);second-degree burglary; and second-degree complicity to burglary.

They have both been lodged in the Hart County Jail.

Nixon was located and arrested on Wednesday, July 3, and Riggs was located and arrested on Thursday, July 4.

Trooper Daniel White is the investigating trooper in this case. He was assisted in investigating this case and locating these subjects by Troopers Jeremy Smith, Justin Rountree, Brett Coomes and Randy Chambers, and Munfordville P.D. Officer Shawn White.
