METCALFE COUNTY GRAND JURY: Two indictments returned

GLASGOW — A Metcalfe County grand jury convened Tuesday and returned the following indictments:

• Benjamin Scott Wilborn, 36, of Edmonton, on one count each of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (controlled substances), less than $10,000; controlled substance prescription not in original container, first offense; and being a persistent felony offender, first degree, relating to incidents in January.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Daniel Stephens testified in the case.

• Jason Brian England, 32, of Burkesville on a charge of flagrant nonsupport since Aug. 3, 2012.

Kelly Harbison, an employee of the Metcalfe County Child Support Office, testified in the case.

An indictment is a formal charge and is not proof of guilt.
