BARREN COUNTY FISCAL COURT: Greer calls special budget meeting

GLASGOW — Barren County Judge-Executive Davie Greer announced through a media notice Monday that a special meeting of Barren County Fiscal Court will begin at 3 p.m. May 8 to consider the county’s proposed budget for the 2014-15 fiscal year, which begins July 1.

The agenda calls for a “detailed investigation of each activity including revenue and appropriations” and discussion of any proposed changes to the budget.

The first reading of the budget ordinance is scheduled for the fiscal court’s next regular meeting, which falls on May 20.
